SNOWFLAKE BUILD 2024

BUILD 2024 is Snowflake’s global annual event, bringing together developers, data scientists, engineers, and data professionals for three days of exclusive product announcements, technical deep dives, and hands-on labs centered on Snowflake’s latest innovations.

My initial task was to build upon last year’s key art by incorporating AI-inspired graphic elements to reflect this year’s focus on artificial intelligence. The goal was to simplify and refine the design while maintaining continuity with the previous key art to preserve brand recognition.

After finalizing the updated key art, I was designated to help create a comprehensive suite of digital and print assets, along with a playbook. The playbook included clear guidelines, links to an image library, templates for social media posts, email campaigns, environmental signage and swag, web landing pages, presentation decks, badges, Zoom backgrounds, and branded swag. This ensured that regional teams could execute their initiatives efficiently while preserving a unified and cohesive brand identity.

KEY ART CREATION

The logo design, the distinctive blue slash, and the dark textured background were retained to ensure quick brand recognition. The icons were removed, and the grids were made more prominent to reinforce the "build" concept. Additionally, an AI-inspired graphic element was superimposed over a 3D Snowflake emblem and zoomed-in to give the design a bolder and energetic look & feel.
