Splunk .conf21 Summit

.conf21 is Splunk’s biggest annual user conference with attendees from across the globe; to show them how they can realize the power of their data with Splunk’s products. The conference had ~32K registrations, 60+ sponsors, and 200+ technical breakout sessions.

The objective of the event’s design refresh is to evolve the previous year’s summit visual expression and tell the “Data to Everything” story.

The new visual expression feels fresh and vibrant, with more dynamism to the overall look and feel, along with the “Splunkiness” of the brand personality. A team of designers collaborated to create a design system for digital and print applications which helped the team achieve more efficiency and consistency in the execution phase.

I helped enhance the visual vignette by introducing greater depth, layering, and more sophisticated data visualizations compared to the previous year; and delivered impactful, on-brand designs while ensuring efficient execution.

VISUAL VIGNETTES

I created this vignette in the beginning of the refresh as the inspiration for the various collages that were created for the various event applications.

We created 3 different tiers of vignettes, small to large, to tell the visual story in various application sizes,
and shared them in the Adobe Cloud library to achieve execution efficiency.
